North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Cleaner at Nobel Primary School on a term-time schedule. The role is 13.25 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 15:00–17:45 and Friday 15:00–17:15, with a pro rata salary of £27,167 per year.

Training will be provided and you will join the PVG Scheme before starting. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment, work independently or as part of a team, and adhere to health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning educational premises preferred.
• PVG Scheme clearance required before starting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

NLC1 - £27,167 (Pro Rata)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team and help ensure our school environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.

As a Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of hygiene across the school. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a wider team, demonstrate strong communication skills, and bring a flexible and positive approach to your daily tasks.

Previous experience in commercial cleaning and familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials, and associated Health & Safety requirements is desirable. Full training will be provided; however, an understanding of safe working practices would be advantageous.

Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme before starting. This will be arranged by North Lanarkshire Council.
