Job summary

Laithes Primary School in Barnsley is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. Term time with some half-term work, 10.5 hours per week (Thu & Fri 3:15pm - 5:30pm) at £12.71 per hour.

You will maintain clean spaces and work with initiative. The successful candidate should have cleaning or caretaking experience, basic safety knowledge, and excellent communication with on-site clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or caretaking is desirable.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills with on-site clients.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms: dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming.
• Empty bins, clean restrooms and ensure sanitation stations are full.
• Build relationships with clients on site.
• Follow health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Cleaner at Laithes Primary School, Term time, will require some half term working

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

We'll be working 10.5 hours per week, Thursday &Friday 3:15pm - 5:30pm.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
• Confident working independently to your own initiative.
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
