Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking a part-time Cleaner at Hawthorne Court in Birmingham for 20 hours per week, permanent contract. You will maintain all communal areas, including the kitchen and toilets, and keep floors vacuumed and mopped to a high standard.

Knowledge of COSHH, health and safety, safeguarding awareness, and strong attention to detail are essential. You must be eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of COSHH and health and safety.
• Awareness of safeguarding and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean all communal areas including kitchens and toilets.
• Vacuum and mop all floors to the required standard.
• Cover other schemes in the area as needed.

• Location: Birmingham - Hawthorne Court
• Salary: £25,179 - £26,861 per annum pro rata
• Hours: 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday
• Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking for a Cleaner to join us at our Over 55's sheltered accommodation / LiveSmart scheme.

You will be responsible for keeping all communal areas of the scheme well maintained, including cleaning of the kitchen and toilets, keeping all floors vacuumed and mopped accordingly.

You will have knowledge of COSHH, health and safety and an awareness of safeguarding and have excellent attention to detail.

Closing Date: Monday 19th October 2026 at midnight.
