Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a Cleaner/Housekeeper for Newquay Bay Holiday Resort in Cornwall. You will clean and prepare guest accommodation to high standards, including beds, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces, to help guests start their holiday with wow.

This seasonal role offers variable hours with weekly pay. You’ll join a friendly team, enjoy staff discounts up to 50% on holidays and on-park benefits, and opportunities for career development.

Location: Newquay Bay Holiday Resort, Cornwall. TR8 4AS

Job Type: Variable Hours - Seasonal Contract

Salary: £12.71 per hour - Paid weekly!

We want you to make our guest accommodation so clean that when guests open their door for the first time, we can hear them say "Wow!"

What you will be doing

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be cleaning and preparing guest accommodation to our high, high standards - and then a little bit higher! This includes changing beds, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living spaces. Always with the aim of making your contribution to someone's holiday count every bit as much as the food they eat and the fun they have.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you're happy to help even when it's 'not your job,' you're our sort of person.

One more thing...holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need

We'll provide training, but you must:

• Have an awareness of what clean means - which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done
• Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
• Be open to learning - experience isn't as important as eagerness to learn
