Job summary

Amey is hiring an on-site Cleaner for the Nuclear Restoration Services account at NRS Harwell Power Plant. The role runs 37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 07:45-17:00 and every other Friday 07:45-12:15, based on site needs.

The successful candidate will perform cleaning tasks, uphold Health and Safety standards, and use attendance software to log hours, contributing to a secure, well-maintained facility.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environment.
• Willingness to undergo BPSS security clearance before start date.

What you will do:

• Carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the work schedule
• Take ownership of Health and Safety for yourself and others at work
• Complete all work in accordance with current legal Health and Safety requirements
• Ensure any appropriate warning signs are always in use
• Observe and comply with site rules and regulations at all times
• Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe working order
• Report all machine and building faults to line manager
• Respond courteously to customer and management requests
• Undertake any other duties requested by line managers
• To use a time and attendance system to record working hours

What you will bring:

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environment
• The successful candidate must be willing to go through BPSS security clearance before start date.
