Job Description

1. Dishwashing – Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers.
2. Deliveries – Ensure all deliveries are put away in compliance with food safety and health and safety guidelines.
3. Kitchen Cleanliness – Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
4. Food Preparation – Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
5. Inventory Management – Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
6. Compliance with Health and Safety – Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
