Job summary

ALMAC Group is seeking a Central Cleaner for the evening shift at its Craigavon HQ. The role is a 20-hour week, Monday to Friday, 18:00–22:00, on an ongoing temporary contract, with a pay rate of £13.47 per hour plus a 16.7% shift premium (£15.72 per hour).

You will maintain high cleanliness standards in designated areas, using approved consumables, monitoring stock, and reporting maintenance issues to your line manager. This role requires flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in an office environment.
• Experience in an industrial setting including knowledge of GMP standards.
• Experience using cleaning equipment such as floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of the facility as required and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Be flexible to move to additional areas to provide cover for absences.
• Flexible hours including overtime and weekend work when needed.
• Use ALMAC approved consumables and maintain stock levels.

Central Cleaner - Evening Shift - ALMAC

CPL have partnered with ALMAC Group to recruit for a Cleaner to join their team on a temporary, on-going contract.

Pay Rate - Evening: £13.47 p/h plus applicable Shift Premium 16.7% - (£15.72)

Location – ALMAC Global Headquarters, Craigavon

Benefits – 34 days holiday per annum

Hours – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday Evening Shift - 18:00 - 22:00

OVERALL ROLE OBJECTIVE:

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in designated areas of the Almac (Craigavon) facilities.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform Routine Cleaning of the Facility as required, including any additional areas which may require a higher standard of cleaning
• Be required to move to additional areas to provide cover for periods of absence
• Be required to be flexible with regards to hours of work to accommodate business need, this may include overtime and weekend work
• Use Almac approved consumables and maintain a suitable level of stock at all times
• Monitor stock levels and complete stock order forms on a regular and ongoing basis
• Inform Line Manager of maintenance issues as and when they arise which are observed during performance of duties
• Keep Line Manager informed on a regular basis of progress and any circumstances, which alter agreed time scales and work schedules
• Maintain adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Fully adhere to training provided to ensure the Health Safety and Wellbeing of yourself and others

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous cleaning experience in an office environment
• Previous cleaning experience in an industrial setting including knowledge of GMP standards
• Experience of using cleaning equipment, e.g. - floor buffers
