Job summary

Longridge Dental Centre in Preston is seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

The position offers part-time hours of Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting at 6 hours per week, with potential for more hours as the practice develops. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Healthcare or dental cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided on dental practice cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising dental surgeries and clinical areas.
• Cleaning reception, waiting areas, toilets and staff facilities.
• Emptying waste and following appropriate waste procedures.
• Following infection control, Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting any issues.
• Ensuring the practice is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
