Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners in Oxford is seeking a Cleaner to support the daily operation of the practice by maintaining high hygiene standards. You will contribute to a clean, comfortable environment for patients and staff and help the team with occasional tasks as needed.

With 6 hours per week spread across Monday to Saturday, the role offers flexible shifts in a small rural/urban setting near transport links. Training and onboarding are provided to support your professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or hygiene-focused role is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn infection control and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all clinical and non-clinical areas are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention protocols in line with health and safety guidance.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or issues.
• Support the practice team with occasional additional tasks when needed.
• Create a welcoming, tidy, and hygienic environment for patients and team members.

Staff experience 14 years - reception, 2 dentists for 7 years, head nurse 5 years, 1 dental nurse 3 years, PM 3 years

Pay and display parking

Oxford Train Station and bus stop to practice, stop right outside - A34 - 15 min M42

Rural practice in the countryside - near football stadium, close to schools, short bus ride to a shopping centre (Cowley Centre)
