Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a School Cleaner at Cwmafan Primary School. The post is 11.75 hours per week, 41 weeks per year, term-time working, with a pay rate of £13.27 per hour and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the school environment.

You will join a capable cleaning team shortlisted for APSE recognition, receive full induction and training, and gain access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and other benefits.

Monday & Tuesday 3:30 pm – 6:00pm

Wednesday to Friday 3:30pm – 5:45pm

We are currently looking for a School Cleaner to join Team NPT.

You’ll join our excellent cleaning team that was shortlisted for the Best Service Team category at the prestigious APSE Awards. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils areable to learn in a clean and safe environment.

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
