Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is seeking a diligent tenancy support professional to work across the Borough, providing assistance to homeless households and coordinating with internal and external services. The role involves regular travel and close teamwork, under supportive supervision.
Ideal candidates will have experience in tenancy support, advice services or social care, plus a basic IT skillset and at least 4 GCSEs (A-C).

You will be part of a dynamic team of staff, who have a host of experience, skills and knowledge, and work in partnership with a wide range of internal and external services to provide relevant support to our service users. The work is fast paced, varied and rewarding. In what can be a challenging and reactive service, you will be trusted to use your initiative while being supported through regular supervision and strong team working.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a tenancy support setting, advice service or social care role, and a working knowledge of the various issues and problems encountered by homeless households, including an understanding of how to support individuals and families to overcome these issues and access support. You will also need to have the required level of IT skills.
Ideally you will have; a minimum of 4 GCSEs Grades A-C.
