Job summary

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council is seeking a School Cleaner for Central Primary in Port Talbot. This permanent, part-time post offers term-time hours: Monday 3:30–5:15pm; Tuesday–Friday 3:30–5:00pm.

You will join a dedicated team delivering high standards of cleanliness in a school environment, with induction and training provided. The role includes pension eligibility, living wage or competitive pay, and access to the Council’s Health & Wellbeing Group.

Location of post: Central Juniors, Broad Street, Port Talbot, SA13 1SF

We are currently looking for a School Cleaner to join Team NPT.

You’ll join our excellent cleaning team that was shortlisted for the Best Service Team category at the prestigious APSE Awards. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils are able to learn in a clean and safe environment.

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
