Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a School Cleaner to join Team NPT at Awel Y Mor Primary School, Sandfields, Port Talbot. Hours are 7.25 per week, 41 weeks per year, term-time working.

Duties include maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure pupils learn in a clean and safe environment. We offer the Local Government Pension Scheme, a living wage or competitive rate of pay, a term-time contract, and access to the Council’s Health & Wellbeing Group.

Qualifications

• Full induction and training programme will be provided.

Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Friday 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm

Location of post: Awel Y Mor Primary School, Ffordd Ysgol, Sandfields, Port Talbot SA12 6TP.

We are currently looking for a School Cleaner to join Team NPT.

You’ll join our excellent cleaning team that was shortlisted for the Best Service Team category at the prestigious APSE Awards. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils are able to learn in a clean and safe environment.

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
