Job summary

Norse Group LTD is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the team at Bosmere Community Primary School in Ipswich, working 15:30-18:00, Monday to Friday for 12.5 hours per week.

You will maintain clean and organized spaces, perform floor care, restrooms cleaning, and report defects. An enhanced DBS check is required; training is provided, and the employer may cover DBS costs. We value diversity and fair treatment in our employment practices.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety practices on site.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships on-site.
• Ability to work independently with good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming.
• Empty bins and clean restrooms; ensure sanitation stations are stocked.
• Build relationships with clients on site and report defects.
• Follow health and safety policies at all times.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday15:30-18:00.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

Your main duties will be:

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
