About This Role

Role: Cleaner

Start Date: July 2026

Reporting to: Site Manager

Salary: Grade 2 (SCP 3) - £24,796 (FTE Salary) / £6,701 - £8,041 (Actual Salary)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part‑time, Full year — 2 positions available. Options include 10 or 12 hours per week, or 22 hours per week for one person.

Working Hours

10 hours per week: Monday‑Friday 6am‑8am or 3:30pm‑5:30pm.

12 hours per week: Monday‑Thursday 6am‑8:30am & Friday 6am‑8am OR Monday‑Thursday 3:30pm‑6pm & Friday 3:30pm‑5:30pm.

About the School

The role is based at The County High School, Leftwich, a high‑performing, fully inclusive, co‑educational 11‑16 school with approximately 1,050 students, 60 teaching staff and 60 support staff. The school serves a mixed catchment area with a Published Admission Number of 210 and is currently significantly over‑subscribed.

About the Role

The Cleaner will undertake the cleaning of designated areas within the school, ensuring a tidy, hygienic environment for students and staff.
