Job summary

St Hugh's Catholic Voluntary Academy seeks an enthusiastic cleaner to join our committed team, delivering high-standard cleaning in designated areas during term time. The role is permanent and part-time, 12.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for general duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal, and maintaining toilet areas to the required standard. DBS checks and safeguarding are in place.

• DBS and other pre-employment checks including online searches are required.
• Cleaning to a high standard in a school setting.

About this Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team of dedicated cleaners who to do the very best for the school and the students within it, undertaking cleaning tasks to a high standard.

Key duties will include:

• Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.
• Emptying litter and recycling bins, etc, and removing waste to designated areas.
• Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated.

This is a permanent, part-time role working for 12.5 hours per week on term time only basis.
