Job summary

Salford Council is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our Citywide services. You will be responsible for opening and closing the building, cleaning, buffing, sweeping, vacuuming and other general domestic cleaning duties at Abbotts Primary School in Collyhurst.

The role is 10 hours per week, permanent and term-time only. We value attention to detail, flexibility and punctuality, and you will contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

About the role

You will lead the team and clean the building to a high standard ensuring that it is a pleasant environment for visitors and staff. Duties will include the opening and closing of the building, cleaning, buffing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning and other general domestic cleaning duties.

The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £10.25 per month.
