Job summary

Lyppard Grange Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable cleaner to join our friendly team, helping to keep the school premises clean and safe for pupils and staff.

The role is term time, with cleaning on weekdays (Monday and Friday) and additional hours in school holidays as directed by the Head Teacher. Applicants will be expected to undergo safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain school premises to a high standard.
• Work term-time on Mondays and Fridays, with banked hours during school holidays as directed by the Head Teacher.
• Attend safeguarding checks including DBS where applicable.

The post is term time weekdays (Monday and a Friday) plus banked hours to be worked during the school holidays as directed by our Head Teacher.
