Job summary

Lidl in Worcester is seeking a Cleaner to help keep the store in top condition, from sweeping to hygiene standards. You’ll contribute to the in-store experience customers deserve, and you’ll be part of a supportive team.

You’ll start mornings at 6am or 7am, Monday to Friday, on a 20-hour contract, with pay at £13.45–£14.45 per hour and pro rata holidays. You’ll also receive a 10% in-store discount, pension and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial.
• A hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Passion to do the best job for your store and your team.
• Drive and independence to carry out tasks to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep trolley bays, car park and outside spaces clean and tidy.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Proactively ensure hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
