Job summary

Lidl in the United Kingdom is hiring a Cleaner who will maintain store cleanliness, hygiene standards, and support colleagues to ensure a welcoming in-store experience. You will help keep the store tidy and safe, supporting customers and staff with a proactive, hands-on approach.

You will earn an hourly rate with additional pay for bank holidays and night shifts, plus a pension scheme and holiday leave. Training and development are provided to help you grow with Lidl.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential).
• A hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
• Drive and independence to carry out tasks to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
• Keep your store's trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy to make a great first impression.
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
• Proactively make sure that hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld.
