Job summary

Lidl in the United Kingdom is hiring a Cleaner to maintain a tidy store and uphold hygiene standards. You’ll operate cleaning equipment, keep trolley bays and car park clean, and support your team to deliver a great in-store experience.

We offer £13.45–£13.65 per hour, 10–15 hour contracts across 5 days, and benefits including 30–35 days holiday pro rata, 10% in-store discount, pension scheme, and enhanced family leave. Additional pay applies for bank holidays and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best
• Keep your store's trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy to make a great first impression
• Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery
• Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste and recycling sections
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed
• Proactively make sure that hygiene, Health and Safety standards are upheld
