Job summary

Knightsfield School is seeking a Cleaner to work 2 hours a day during term time, either before or after school hours. You will report to the Site Manager and join the Premises team to maintain a clean, safe environment for our pupils.

Duties include cleaning surfaces in designated areas, vacuuming floors, cleaning walls, emptying bins, and restocking consumables. Rubber gloves are provided to mitigate exposure to cleaning materials. We value safeguarding and training as part of our commitments.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated surface areas in timetabled zones by the Site Manager.
• Vacuum and clean floors using supplied equipment.
• Clean walls and other paintwork as required.
• Empty waste bins in designated areas.
• Clean pupil and staff toilets (as required).
• Replenish consumables including handwash, tissues and paper towels (as required).

Job description

We are looking for a Cleaner to work 2 hours a day term-time only, either before or after school hours [ either 2 hours before 8.30am, or 2 hours in the late afternoon/evening].

You will report into the Site Manager who with the Premises team helps to maintain the cleanliness of the school so that it is a safe, positive environment for our pupils to learn in.

• Cleaning pupil & staff toilets (as required)
