Job summary

Ashtead Technology in Towie Barclay Works is seeking a part-time Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across all areas.

This evening role offers 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday and Saturday, with duties including cleaning per schedule, restocking, routine inspections, and reporting maintenance needs to the HSE department.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties per the schedule and follow instructions from the Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator.
• Clean and restock designated areas to maintain hygiene and presentation.
• Complete and record routine cleaning tasks and inspections.
• Support deep cleaning activities and special projects as required.
• Perform spot cleaning outside the planned schedule as needed.
• Report equipment requiring repair or replacement to the HSE department.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify HSE of low stock levels in time.
• Follow all health, safety and COSHH regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain effective written and verbal communication with the HSE department.

Join Ashtead Technology as a Cleaner at our impressive Towie Barclay Works facility, where you’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety across all areas.

This is a part time, evening position, working Monday to Thursday and Saturday, totalling 20 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out cleaning duties in line with the cleaning schedule and instructions from the Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator.
• Cleaning and restocking designated areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Completing and recording routine cleaning tasks and inspections.
• Supporting deep cleaning activities and special projects as required.
• Carrying out additional spot cleaning whenever needed, outside the planned cleaning schedule.
• Reporting equipment requiring repair or replacement to the HSE department.
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the HSE department of low stock levels in good time.
• Following all relevant health, safety and COSHH regulations and guidelines.
• Maintaining effective written and verbal communication with the HSE department.
