Poltronesofà S.p.A. in Gateshead is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our store team. The role involves keeping the store clean and tidy, including bathrooms and kitchen areas, with a 6-hour weekly commitment. You will help create a warm, safe shopping environment for customers and colleagues.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll contribute to a high standard of cleanliness while supporting the Retail department in a busy store setting.

• Has previous cleaning experience in a similar role.
• Takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
• Hands-on approach and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
• Can work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming store environment.
• Cleaning all bathroom facilities, including sinks and floors.
• Monitoring soap and toilet paper stock; replenish when needed.
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and windowsills; maintain hygiene.
• Carrying out other cleaning duties in line with the role.

We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our store team.

This role would be working 6 hours per week, perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a space look its best.

As our Cleaner, you’ll play an important part in creating a warm, friendly and safe environment for everyone who visits or works in our store.

What does the role involve?

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming store environment
• Cleaning all bathroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, urinals and floors
• Monitoring soap, toilet roll and tissue paper dispensers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished when needed
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, including sinks, draining boards, worktops, floors and windowsills
• Carrying out any other cleaning duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
