Job summary

ScS is looking for a Cleaner to join our store team at Metro Centre Gateshead. The role involves maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment and cleaning all bathroom facilities, with a focus on pride in workmanship and attention to detail.

The position is 6 hours per week, providing flexible hours for someone who enjoys keeping spaces tidy and presentable for customers and colleagues alike.

• Can work independently and manage their time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming store environment
• Cleaning all bathroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, urinals and floors
• Monitoring soap, toilet roll and tissue paper dispensers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished when needed
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, including sinks, draining boards, worktops, floors and windowsills
• Carrying out any other cleaning duties in keeping with the general nature of the role

What’s the opportunity?

We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our store team.

This role would be working 6 hours per week, perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a space look its best.

As our Cleaner, you’ll play an important part in creating a warm, friendly and safe environment for everyone who visits or works in our store.

What does the role involve?

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming store environment
• Cleaning all bathroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, urinals and floors
• Monitoring soap, toilet roll and tissue paper dispensers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished when needed
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, including sinks, draining boards, worktops, floors and windowsills
• Carrying out any other cleaning duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
