Poltronesofà S.p.A. in Gateshead is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our Retail showroom at Metro Centre. You will keep the showroom clean, tidy and welcoming for customers and colleagues.

This role involves 6 hours per week with flexibility. We value pride in workmanship, reliability and a positive attitude as you help create a safe, pleasant shopping space.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar role.
• Pride in work and keen eye for detail.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck in.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming store environment
• Cleaning all bathroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, urinals and floors
• Monitoring soap, toilet roll and tissue paper dispensers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished when needed
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, including sinks, draining boards, worktops, floors and windowsills
• Hoovering all floors to keep them clean and presentable for customers and colleagues
• Carrying out any other cleaning duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
• Helping to ensure our showroom is a warm, friendly and safe environment for everyone

We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our store team and help us keep our showroom clean, tidy and welcoming for our customers and colleagues.

This role would be working 6 hours per week, perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a space look its best.

As our Cleaner, you’ll play an important part in creating a warm, friendly and safe environment for everyone who visits or works in our store.

What does the role involve?

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming store environment
