Job description

The Catering & Facilities Management Service is seeking to employ an additional cleaner at Outwood Academy Kirkby to enhance cleaning standards within the site.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team, and who can communicate effectively at all levels.

Experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties include vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing furniture, window cleaning, and occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery such as buffing machines and wet pick-ups.

You will play a vital role as part of a large team but are expected to work using your own initiative and plan your daily routine to meet the site’s needs. Protective clothing and PPE will be provided.
