Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a part-time Cleaner in Edinburgh to deliver high cleaning standards while meeting SLAs and schedules. The role runs Monday to Friday, 18:00–22:00 at Baillie Gifford, with a £14.55 hourly rate and 20 hours per week.

Training on health and safety is provided, with opportunities within a large facilities services group. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and able to communicate in basic English.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Prev cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
