Job description

Location:

Newbold Revel, HMPPS- Rugby CV23 OTH

Contract:

Permanent | Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift pattern:

1. Monday - 12:00-18:00
2. Tuesday - 09:30-18:00
3. Wednesday - 09:30-18:00
4. Thursday - 09:30-18:00
5. Friday - 07:00-15:00

Salary:

£12.61 Per hour. Please ensure you can commute to the site before applying, as this role is in a remote location with limited public transport.

Job Introduction:

Sodexo is seeking reliable, dedicated Cleaners to help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at our client’s site, Newbold Revel HMPPS. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service while working in a secure and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform scheduled cleaning of kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets, offices, and other areas.
2. Replenish consumables including toilet roll, hand soap, sanitiser, etc.
3. Adhere to infection control, COSHH, and site-specific safety regulations.
4. Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures.
5. Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to your supervisor.
6. Be flexible in supporting team members and covering additional areas when needed.

About You:

1. Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
3. Able to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
4. Capable of following strict procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
5. Willing to undertake necessary training (e.g., first aid, security awareness).
6. Must pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.
