Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaner to help keep our school environment clean and tidy. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for undertaking general cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, buffing, and vacuuming, to ensure the school is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
  2. Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and other sanitary fittings
  3. Dust and polish furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces
  4. Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
  5. Ensure all waste is disposed of correctly and the school is kept tidy
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role is desirable, but not essential
  2. Ability to work efficiently and independently to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  3. Commitment to working as part of a team to support the school community
  4. Flexible and adaptable to accommodate changes in the school's needs
