Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council in Maghull/Formby area is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to perform high-standard cleaning across classrooms, toilets, sports areas and offices within the borough.

Hours are 15 per week, term-time plus 4 weeks, with a permanent contract. The role requires reliability, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support a safe, well-presented environment for pupils and staff.

About the Role

Providing a high level of cleaning within schools, civic buildings, throughout the borough.

To provide support to site cleaning supervisor or cleaner in charge when necessary.

The key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning of classrooms, replenishing floors, toilets, sports areas, offices.
• The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently
• Exceptional attention to detail

This role suits someone who is passionate about delivering excellent service committed to maintaining high standards, and confident working both independently and collaboratively to support a skilled and safe workforce.
