Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings and grounds including coverings, fixtures, furniture and sanitary facilities (reactive and planned).
• Move chairs, desks and furniture as requested.
• Operate cleaning equipment.
• Ensure equipment and consumables are safely used and stored.
• Undertake routine maintenance of cleaning equipment.
• Report defects such as faulty lights or fittings.
• Dispose of cleaning waste in line with college procedures.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities of our Cleaner

• Cleaning the buildings and grounds to include coverings, fixtures, furniture and sanitary facilities (reactive and planned)


• Moving chairs, desks and furniture as requested


• Operating cleaning equipment


• Ensuring equipment and consumables are safely used and correctly stored


• Undertaking routine maintenance of cleaning equipment


• Reporting defects including faulty fixtures and fittings e.g. lights, furniture etc


• Ensuring that all cleaning waste/rubbish is disposed of in line with college procedure


• Attention to detail and ability to ensure quality standards are met.
