Job summary

Sodexo supplies cleaning services across the RAF High Wycombe site. They’re seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, following schedules and using equipment safely.

The role supports professional relationships with customers and colleagues and requires flexibility to cover different site areas. On-the-job training is provided, with fully funded apprenticeship qualifications and opportunities for career progression within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking with pride in work.
• Able to follow cleaning schedules, instructions and procedures.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Willing to learn and complete training.
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning services across the site.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete daily, weekly, periodic and specialist cleaning tasks.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and products safely and correctly.
• Maintain clean, tidy and hygienic work areas.
• Achieve required cleaning quality and productivity standards.
• Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, PPE, uniform and fire procedures.
• Report accidents, near misses, equipment faults and other concerns to management.
• Look after cleaning equipment, materials and supplies and report any defects.
• Maintain professional and positive relationships with customers, clients and colleagues.
• Attend team meetings, briefings and training as required.
• Work flexibly across different areas of the site when required.

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the site.

You’ll carry out a range of daily, weekly, periodic and specialist cleaning duties, following cleaning schedules and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with client and company requirements.

What You’ll Do:
