Job summary

Stockport School in Stockport invites applications for a daily cleaner to help maintain a clean and safe environment for students and staff. The role covers cleaning corridors, offices, classrooms, toilets and designated areas as directed by the Site Manager, with flexibility in hours.

The post is part time (up to 32.5 hours per week) and payable on a scale with the real living wage currently topping £13.45 per hour.

We have a vacancy for a daily cleaner to help keep the school a clean and safe environment to study and work in for everyone.

The daily tasks will be cleaning corridors, offices, classrooms, toilets and designated areas to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager. The post will also involve any other duties and responsibilities which arise from the nature and character of the post.

The appointed person should:

• be reliable and hardworking
• be able to follow instructions but equally use initiative

The successful applicant's appointment will be subject to satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
