Job summary

Arriva Kent Thameside Limited is seeking a reliable Cleaner to maintain cleanliness across buses, depots, and office facilities. You will help create a safe, clean and welcoming environment for employees and passengers, with full training provided.

The role covers cleaning bus interiors, restrooms, kitchens and communal spaces, and requires a strong work ethic, health and safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Monday to Friday pattern offered.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitise designated areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens and communal spaces.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
• Clean bus interiors, seats, floors, windows and driver cabs.
• Perform deep-cleaning like floor scrubbing and window cleaning.
• Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely according to procedures.
• Work both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness? We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team and help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees and passengers.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our buses, depots, and office facilities, ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising designated areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish safely and responsibly.
• Cleaning bus interiors, including seats, floors, windows, and driver cabs.
• Carrying out deep-cleaning duties such as floor scrubbing, window cleaning, and polishing surfaces.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with company procedures.
• Working independently and as part of a supportive team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
