Job summary

Active Learning Trust is recruiting for Highfield Littleport Academy in Cambridgeshire for a permanent, part-time cleaning role. The contract runs 39 weeks per year, with 15 hours per week, 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Salary is ALT Grade B £8,823.64–£8,892.03 (Actual).

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks across the school, including dusting, vacuuming, washing, polishing and toilet cleaning.
• Support specialised cleaning programmes during school closures or designated periods.
• Restock soap, paper towels and other supplies, and store equipment and chemicals safely.
• Report safety concerns, low stock levels, faults or hazards promptly to the line manager.
• Contribute to a safe and secure environment by following health and safety procedures and assisting in preparing rooms and work areas.
