Uffculme School is seeking a friendly, hard-working Premises Cleaner to join our busy facilities team. The role focuses on cleaning designated buildings with light and heavy cleaning tasks, using PPE and training provided. Some seasonal outdoor duties may include window cleaning, litter picking and leaf sweeping around entrances.

The post is 41 weeks of the year, worked during term time with a further Easter week and two summer weeks. The salary is NJC point 3, £25,614 full-time equivalent.

Our in house cleaning team are central to the ethos of Uffculme School and the team work hard to provide an exceptional cleaning standard. Visitors to the school often remark on how clean and well maintained the school's buildings and site look.The role involves cleaning designated buildings around the school. There will be day to day use of light and heavy cleaning equipment along with chemicals, cleaning equipment for which PPE will be provided as well as thorough training. Some seasonal work around the outside of buildings may be required from time to time such as window cleaning at ground level, litter picking and leaf sweeping around doorways.Our priority at the moment is for cleaning after 3.00pm but we can offer some flexibility on times and the number of hours for the right candidate. The role is for 41 weeks of the year, to be worked during term time, plus a week at Easter and 2 weeks in the summer.
