Job summary

Blackdown Education Partnership is seeking a part-time premises cleaner for Uffculme School in Cullompton. You will join a busy in-house cleaning team responsible for maintaining high standards across the site.

The role involves cleaning designated buildings, using cleaning equipment with PPE provided, and completing training. Seasonal outdoor tasks may include window cleaning and litter sweeping; DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Commitment to safeguarding students and school environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated school buildings and facilities.
• Operate light and heavy cleaning equipment; PPE provided and training given.
• Seasonal outdoor tasks: window cleaning, litter picking, leaf sweeping.
• Shift starts after 3:00 PM; 41 weeks term time plus Easter and summer weeks.

Our in house cleaning team are central to the ethos of Uffculme School and the team work hard to provide an exceptional cleaning standard. Visitors to the school often remark on how clean and well maintained the school's buildings and site look.The role involves cleaning designated buildings around the school. There will be day to day use of light and heavy cleaning equipment along with chemicals, cleaning equipment for which PPE will be provided as well as thorough training. Some seasonal work around the outside of buildings may be required from time to time such as window cleaning at ground level, litter picking and leaf sweeping around doorways.Our priority at the moment is for cleaning after 3.00pm but we can offer some flexibility on times and the number of hours for the right candidate.
