Job summary

Ritz Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Housekeeper for the Coventry area (CV1). This temporary role covers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at a rate of £13.15 per hour. You’ll maintain spotless communal areas, refresh show flats, and ensure a welcoming living environment for residents.

Ideal candidates bring customer-facing cleaning experience, knowledge of UK health and safety rules, and a friendly, proactive approach to supporting the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning within customer-facing environments.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing:

• Keeping all communal areas spotless, including reception, offices, amenities, and restrooms
• Carrying out daily litter picks and ensuring external areas look great
• Freshening empty apartments and show flats to maintain a marketready feel
• Responding warmly to resident queries and supporting the wider team
• Logging maintenance issues and ensuring health & safety is always front of mind
• Managing cleaning supplies and championing efficient use of materials
