Job summary

Pinnacle Group is recruiting a Cleaner to deliver a full range of cleaning tasks across communal areas in our Homes Division. The role supports health and safety procedures, includes reporting maintenance issues and managing cleaning supplies, and works 2PM-5PM, Monday to Friday for 15 hours per week in on-site settings.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to use digital systems to record work. We value trust, respect and excellence in service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cleaning services and use of cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and health & safety procedures.
  • Reliability with good timekeeping and ability to follow schedules.
  • Ability to work in a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Clean communal internal and external areas (hallways, staircases, window sills, courtyards).
  • Vacuum, dust, litter-pick across all sites.
  • Sweep and mop hard surfaces; clean windows within reach.
  • Record completed work and use sign-in and online systems.
  • Advise management on materials/equipment to order and keep stores secure.

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Cleaner who will be responsible for delivering a full range of cleaning tasks, ensuring the service is continually improved, and the specification is met and Interacting with the public as part of the wider customer facing service delivery team on site.

Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties.

We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.

The ideal candidate will be a reliable and self-motivated cleaner with excellent attention to detail, who takes pride in maintaining high standards across communal residential areas, understands the importance of health and safety procedures, and is confident reporting maintenance issues, managing cleaning supplies, and using digital systems to record completed work.

This is a part-time role to work 15 hours a week.

The working hours are 2PM-5PM Monday-Friday.

Key responsibilities
  • Cleaning of communal internal and external areas such as hallways, staircases and window-sills, as well as courtyards, paths, carparks and bin stores etc. as per the required Contract specification.
  • Vacuuming, dusting, litter-picking all sites.
  • Sweeping and mopping hard surfaces.
  • Cleaning windows within easy reach.
  • Routinely clean internal white goods where appropriate.
  • Taking images of completed work when asked.
  • Recording presence using the sign in sheets as well as our online system.
  • Advising Manager of materials / equipment to be ordered.
  • Ensure stores and equipment are kept secure and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
  • Reporting required repairs / maintenance in communal areas to Management.
  • General Internal and External cleaning of the estate including communal lobby, windows and staff facilities.
Key requirements
  • Good knowledge, experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety Good timekeeping and attendance are important Ability to work to laid-down schedules.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
