Langley Trust has an exciting opportunity for a reliable, conscientious and detail-focused Cleaner to join our welcoming team in Cheltenham. In this permanent part‑time role, working 20 hours per week, you'll play a vital part in creating a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the people we support. In return, you'll receive a salary of £13,298 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Clean the Service following a weekly and monthly routine
  • Check empty bedrooms weekly, run water/flush and record hot water temps
  • Keep linen and airing cupboards stocked and tidy
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and hygienic daily
  • Report issues to Housing Services Manager or Deputy Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Cleaning the Service following a weekly and monthly routine as per the Service Manager’s instructions
  • Checking empty bedrooms on a weekly basis to run the water/flush and record hot water temperatures
  • Keeping linen cupboards and airing cupboards well stocked and tidy
  • Checking bathrooms are kept clean and hygienic daily
  • Seeking to promote high standards to comply with all relevant legislation and regulations by bringing to the attention of the Housing Services Manager or Deputy Service Manager any problems discovered whilst undertaking checks and any damage to property or décor, etc.

Please note that the successful candidate will need to be happy to adapt to change and flexible in their duties. No one day will be the same so the ability to refocus frequently is important.
