Job summary

Cambian Great Dunmow School is seeking a dedicated cleaner to help provide a safe and clean environment for students aged 11 to 19 with health needs. You will work as part of a team to ensure offices and classrooms are kept to a high standard in line with health and safety policies.

The role encourages a proactive, self-motivated approach, with emphasis on independent work and pride in achieving high cleanliness standards. COSHH knowledge or prior cleaning experience would be advantageous.

Job description

Cambian Great Dunmow School is an small independent specialist provision that provides relevant, positive and high-quality education experiences and support for your child. We cater for children and young people aged 11 to 19 with ongoing social, emotional and mental health difficulties with associated complex needs.

Main Purpose of the Job

As a cleaner you will be responsible for helping to provide and maintain a safe, clean, positive environment for our students in Great Dunmow school. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that the offices and classroom areas are all cleaned to a high standard following the health and safety policies and requirements.

We are looking for someone who is able to work independently with a positive and proactive approach to obtaining high standards of cleanliness. We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible and efficient individual who takes pride in their work and understands the important part they play.

We do not require any specific experience for this role, some knowledge of COSHH, health and safety in the workplace and/or previous cleaning experience would be advantageous.
