Job summary

ParetoFM is seeking a Flexible Cleaning Operative to cover holidays and sickness on a site-based basis. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service, supporting the wider team as required.

Responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties to schedules, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting hazards to the Site Manager. The role requires a dependable, flexible individual who can work independently or with colleagues in varied environments.

Flexible Cleaning Operative (Holiday & Sickness Cover)

Location: Site Based

Hours: Flexible – Covering Holidays & Sickness as Required

What You'll Be Doing

As a Flexible Cleaning Operative, you'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service while supporting the wider team wherever required.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Carrying out cleaning duties in line with the agreed cleaning specification and schedules.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all designated areas.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Using cleaning products, materials and equipment correctly, ensuring they are well maintained and stored appropriately.
• Reporting any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns or hazards to the Site Manager.
• Responding positively to reasonable requests from both the client and management team.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure service delivery is maintained at all times.
• Wearing the appropriate uniform and PPE while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Taking ownership of your work and using initiative to resolve day-to-day issues where appropriate.

Working Environment

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Depending on the site, you may work both indoors and outdoors and in a range of operational environments.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Working in environments where additional Health & Safety procedures must be followed.
• Manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods.
