Job summary

Batley Girls’ High School is seeking a part-time cleaner to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2.45 p.m. - 5.45 p.m., all year round.

Full training will be provided; previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. You will work as part of a team to ensure high standards of cleanliness across the site. The post is part of Batley Multi Academy Trust and supports safeguarding and staff development.

The role will appeal to someone who enjoys cleaning and takes pride with a sense of ownership in keeping our school environment clean and well presented for our learners, staff and visitors.

Working as part of a team, you will undertake a variety of cleaning duties including; sweeping, mopping, vacuum cleaning, damp wiping, polishing and emptying litter bins.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
