Job summary

Manorfield Infant and Nursery School in Batley is seeking an experienced Educational Teaching Assistant to provide guidance, care and support to young learners. You will work as part of a team including teaching and associate staff, to support the learning and welfare of our learners.

The successful candidate will need strong knowledge and experience of SEND, along with efficiency and enthusiasm for primary education, and the ability to handle difficult situations.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of SEND and supporting pupils with different needs.
  • Excellent team working skills and the ability to work with teaching and associate staff.
  • Ability to remain positive and calm when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Interest in Primary Education and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support learning and welfare of learners under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality guidance and care.
  • Assist with classroom routines and supervision during activities.
  • Support pupils with SEND to access learning activities and resources.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant (ETA) to provide the very best guidance, care and support to young people in our school. The successful candidate will work as part of a team including teaching and associate staff, to support the learning and welfare of our learners. Excellent team working skills, along with the ability to deal with difficult situations are essential.

The successful candidates will need to have strong knowledge and experience of SEND, along with being able to demonstrate efficiency and enthusiasm, with a keen interest in Primary Education.
