Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Cleaner to join a friendly, supportive team in the United Kingdom. The role involves keeping facilities clean, safe, and welcoming, and working as part of a team on day-to-day cleaning duties.

Key responsibilities include completing tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets, offices and other areas, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and adhering to infection control, COSHH, and security procedures. Training including first aid may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a corporate office environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, use own initiative and contribute effectively within a team.
• Good attention to detail, adherence to standards and understanding of data protection regulations.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training, including first aid and security awareness, and BPSS security checks.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets, offices and other designated areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and replenish stock and consumables as required.
• Follow company policies and procedures relating to infection control, security and COSHH, including completing relevant training.
• Work safely at all times by wearing the required PPE and following Sodexo processes, reporting hazards, faulty equipment and other concerns to your line manager.
• Take responsibility for allocated cleaning areas while remaining flexible to support other floors and provide holiday and absence cover as required.
