Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a cleaner to join their Oldpark location. Start shifts at 6:00am, Monday to Saturday, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour plus benefits. The role emphasizes equipment cleanliness, adherence to safety standards, training, teamwork, and delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants should be reliable, flexible, and self-driven, with basic English communication skills. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs.
• Build knowledge of designated cleaning area, when work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used, following Health and Safety requirements.
• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and can work under their own initiative.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

What You Will Do As a Cleaner

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs
• Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements
• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role
• Work within a team and can work under their own initiative
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
