Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Project Engineer – Environment based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. The role focuses on clean water projects within the Water Industry, reporting to the Project Manager and coordinating design, procurement, cost control and site activities across multiple sites in the region.

You will work as part of a strong delivery team, applying your water industry experience to drive schemes from inception through to completion, maintaining HSE standards and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Experience in the Water Industry is essential.
• Commercial and contractual awareness required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other MS packages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering from inception to completion with in-house and field teams.
• Manage health and safety documentation and quality assurance.
• Procurement of materials and subcontractor coordination.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering.
• Ensure programmes, budgets and project delivery meet targets.
• Liaise with site teams to ensure progress to time, budget and quality.
