Bright Futures Educational Trust is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to join our Upper Key Stage 2 team. The role focuses on planning and delivering high-quality lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and supporting students with diverse educational needs.

You will be responsible for curriculum delivery, assessment, and maintaining strong communication with parents while promoting pupil well-being and progression across the year group.

Responsabilidades

• Planning and preparing courses and lessons.
• Teaching pupils according to their educational needs including the setting and marking of their work.
• Curriculum coverage, continuity and progression in the subject for all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
• Promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and of any class or group of pupils assigned.
• Providing guidance and advice to pupils on educational and social matters and on their further education and future careers.
• Communicating and consulting with the parents of pupils.
• Provide oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual pupils and groups of pupils.
• Establish clear targets for pupils' achievement, and evaluate progress and achievement by all pupils, including those with special needs.
• Use data effectively to identify pupils who are underachieving and, where necessary, create and implement effective plans of action to support those pupils.

We are seeking to appoint an experience and passionate Class Teacher to join our Upper Key Stage 2 Team.

1. Any statutory curriculum requirements and the requirements for assessment, recording and reporting of pupils' attainment and progress.
2. The characteristics of high quality teaching and the main strategies for improving and sustaining high standards of teaching, learning and achievement for all pupils.
3. The implications of the code of practice for special educational needs for teaching and learning.

Teaching

1. Planning and preparing courses and lessons.
2. Teaching pupils according to their educational needs including the setting and marking of their work.

Pastoral and communication

1. Promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils and of any class or group of pupils assigned.

4. Communicating and consulting with the parents of pupils
