Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this KS1 role.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1 / KS1 with knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is desirable.

The school is looking for a dedicated Classroom Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 / KS1 team on a full-time, long-term basis, with an immediate start. The successful Classroom Teacher will plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons, support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND, and demonstrate a reliable, flexible approach to meeting the changing needs of the classroom while maintaining a positive and consistent learning environment.

The successful Classroom Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (Early Career Teachers / ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1, with a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / SEND is desirable
• The ability to plan and deliver exciting, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning needs and abilities
• Strong classroom management skills, with a patient, reliable and consistent approach to supporting young learners
• A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to support the wider school community
